INWARD RHYTHM
Rhythm turns inward. Structure begins to sound.
From 2017, drummer of the post-hardcore band Fall of Tears — arranging and recording across multiple singles and EPs, selling out a 300-cap self-organized show, and playing TSUTAYA O-EAST. In parallel: live support for PLEIADES and coll, and game-music arrangements.
Now fully committed to the solo project Takefuji Drums. On the first album, chronorhythm, every part — composition, performance, arrangement, even the artwork and design — was made by one pair of hands. Rooted in post-hardcore, post-rock, math rock, and jazz, the music is built from the rhythm outward: polyrhythmic structures inside minimal soundscapes.
